Photo Tip... Journals I have never been able to consistently take notes while photographing, but I have found it very useful to keep a journal after the fact. The pages of my journal are not filled with technical notes, but with notes on the location, what I photographed and my overall experience that day. I find this of much more benefit to me than f-stops and focal lengths, as it helps me recall the best places and times to photograph, as well as a reminder of the special moments that remind me why I love nature photography.
