New, easier-to-use navigation!
As shown on this page, the new drop-down menu system is integrated into the page header section and can now be found on all top level pages. All pages on the site will be updated with the new system in the near future. The new system also includes a convenient Front Page log-in link.
Larger photos!
Based on popular demand, we now offer the ability to upload larger photos in the image critique galleries. Members now have the option to upload a second larger file that may be sized up to 1200 pixels/500kb. A “View Larger Photo” link will appear with your post, opening the larger photo in a separate window.
Larger gallery thumbnails!
Based on member suggestion, the image critique gallery thumbnail pages have been updated with larger thumbnails. A more elegant page design and 4 times the picture pixels, the new thumbnail pages are a joy to view!
The new Anonymous Gallery!
Another new feature based on our members' feedback, the Anonymous Gallery allows NPN members to post their photos without revealing their identity. If you are looking for unbiased feedback on your work, this is the gallery to post it in!
Easier-to-read articles!
All new articles are presented with the new header navigation and a larger font for easier reading (visit the NPN Front Page for a listing of our latest articles). All past articles will be updated as well!
New article comment feature added!
NPN members will now find a comment section at the end of the articles (you must be logged in for Post a Comment text box to appear). Please feel free to leave your comments or discuss the article in the new section! The comments left by NPN members will be visible to all viewers.
List your personal website!
The Preferences page has been updated so that members can add or edit their personal website information. The new Member Websites page includes links to individual member websites, online portfolios and blogs, as well as a list of photographic services offered. The listing is updated once a day so new listings or edits will appear within 24 hours. As the Internet's top-ranked nature photography website, listing your personal website on NPN is a great way to improve the ranking of your own site!

Members can now link to their personal blogs from the Member Websites page and from their posts in the discussion forums and image critique galleries. It's a great new way to promote your blog!
NPN Online Courses!
We now offer a selection of 6-week online nature photography courses. Conducted in "virtual classrooms" (private forums) by NPN staff, these courses are a great way to brush-up on old skills or learn some new ones. A $20.00 membership discount applies - get all the details in the new online courses section!
Member Galleries!
We have updated the image critique gallery software to allow NPN members to add up to 144 photos to their gallery. This is basically a rework of the "My Photos" feature that allows members to save photos they have posted to the IC galleries from the 35-day auto-deletion. More details on this cool new feature can be found here.
