Congratulations to all the Winners in the 2014 Editor's Pick Awards, All Amazing Images and well deserving.
I also wanted the compliment Jim and Donna along with anyone else involved with the January 2015 Home Page Editor's Pick Awards. The Presentation is very entertaining and will surely grab the attention of first time visitors to further investigate the NPN site.
I would suggest, based on my own enthusiasm, that this should be considered as a regular approach to the home page and instead of one photo of the month, have a photo of the month for each gallery presented in this slide show format.
This idea will make for a more entertaining Home Page, give addition recognition to well deserving images and may create a desire for posting more images in a variety of galleries as well.

Update
There are some issues to work through doing this (such as the best way to archive the slide shows), but I think we'll give it a trial run and see how it is received.
