WC 128 Utah Valley Panoramic

This is a stitch of three shots that I took while working on a 'self-assigned' project to shoot a steel mill in our valley that was closed in the last couple of years. The third shot (on the right) has the least amount of interest (and also a slight cast to it). I will shoot this again in the future and will shoot with the camera pointed more to the left.

Nathan: I think you are close with this one and may not need to do a whole lot of tweaking. You might consider using a longer focal length, raise the camera a bit so that you can still include the mountains while trimming away some of the FG. It would also let you eliminate some of the right side. I think this scene lends itself to a pano crop if you limit the BG to the main mountain range. As for thestitching job, it looks a whole lot better than anything I've done. This is a nice piece of work. ><>

Nice stitching job, Nathan. I like the warm colors, and the way the desert-like foreground is rather abruptly broken by the snow-capped range. Nice work.
