Another image from my last outing in Great Falls National Park. This is shot from the same location as my previous post.

Nikon D300, 80-200mm, Singh Ray Vari-ND, raw capture at ISO 100.
4 seconds at f22

Very very artistic. Love the flow here. Nice contrasting warm colours on the left as against the cooler (relatively) on the right. Very well seen & made.
Single large falls on the left and step-wise falls on the right makes it even more aesthetic.
Just one nit - the dark region on the lower left corner is slightly bothersome.

A fine example of minimalism, Joseph. The small waterfalls on the right side of the image are just delightful. Colours on the left side could maybe use a slight desaturation. Wonderful capture as is, though.

This may be the best image I've seen from this place. What a great comp. I love the blurred water and the contrasting colors, and just about everything else.

This is wonderful, Joseph. I find the right side so strong that it's almost a comp in itself and my eye keeps bouncing back and forth to the colorful area on the left. Maybe desaturate the left a bit? Great image though. :toast:

Wow!I love your wider comps of this river and it's surrounding rocky shoreline a lot. This is a fantastic intimate view that will go very nicely with the collection from there. The power of the larger cascade on the left almost engulfing the delicate cascades on the right is just perfect!

Joseph,

This is superb in so many ways and I'm really surprised this hasn't received more comments.

I find this very powerful, yet elegant. You've created an artistic rendition by isolating this small section of the falls - and the technicals are flawless. You've taken the oft-criticized silky water and simply created beautiful imagery.
