This fellow just finished swallowing a Frog. After the final gulp his feathers stood up just for a second.

I wonder if my hair would stand on end if I swallowed a frog? I suspect that would be the least of my worries. Nice shot Charlie, nice and sharp.

The fluffing of the feather definetly makes the shot. I also like the colors and clarity in the head and neck areas. You also managed a very complimentary background, well done.

Nice Black-crowned Night-Heron. I like this clean side view, the background colors and textures, and the rotting log base.
Well done.

His expression is telling me he is having second thoughts about the frog appetizer. Sensational image I agree with everyone else.

Congratulations for the EP. Love the ruffled feathers... the frog probably did one big jump to get back out... and the coloration in his face.
