Another from Tuolomne Meadows. All comments welcome. >=))>
Edit: This is a thin film of ice on the creek meandering through the meadow.

Is this Ice? water or what exactly, I need to spend more time in Tuolomne meadows apparently. Very interesting.

Hi Bill,
I like it but I'm dying to know what it is, is it ice, I see the same geometric shape all through the picture but I can't figure out what it is.

An amazing abstract, Bill. Although one knows they can be captured almost anywhere, but this is even a real find in a great place like Tuolomne Meadows which is more often captured in grand landscapes. Detail, textures, patterns, colors, everything is just flat super on this one.

Another beauty Bill. The ice patterns aren't quite as distinct as before, but the color shift is marvelous. Great work.

Bill,
FASCINATING! This is something many people would not notice, and it looks even more difficult to capture!
I've been unable to spend time with NPN for a while, so I did not see the others, but I can see this is a fascinating view of ice crystals with tiny bubble puctuating the scene. The two-tone diagonal ballances well if I view this as an abstaction, but as a veiwer more interested in nature than art (I know -- How do you separate them? -- but I think you know what I mean), I am drawn to the center and upper left side where I can see more detail in the crystals and bubbles. This makes my eye keep traveling out of the picture, wanting to see more up that way. If that's intentional artistic tension, mission accomplished. This is both beautiful and fascinating, but I think I might enjoy it more without the 25% in the lower right.

The pattern of the ice crystals aren't as prominent here as your other posts, but the colors are simply amazing. The bubbles are a nice addition. Great work!!

What a great mix of color and texture! I'll bet this would look great in large print.

Bill,
Although I failed to comment on your previous one (which I thought was stellar!) I can't pass on this one. While this one is a bit more mysterious compared to the previous, more straight forward image, this is just as beautiful. I love the colors from beneath the ice and there's just enough detail on the surface to give this substance.
What a great find!

Excellent capture and presentation. A masterly presentation of color in an abstract form.

This is great Bill; It almost looks like a piece of stone. The colours and textures are really appealing. Nicely done!

Stunning image, Bill. The crystals look like flowers! And I love the colors. A great find and very well executed!
