Chapel at Callaway Gardens, GA. The effect is Flaming Pear's India ink applied to a BW conversion, faded about 50%. I applied the window from a copy of the original color version as an overlay.

Nice effect Philip. I like the composition you choose. The tight framing in particular is excellent. The church fits very well into the natural environment and suggests it has been there a long time. The India Ink effect works for the subject material, looks like a wood cut from the middle ages to me. The window color and the architectural design of the window are considerably more modern appearing, so the dichotomy makes me think about the image for that. You could desaturate or alter the color scheme of the window I suppose for a different effect entirely. This is a magnificent setting with a lot of symbolism.

This is fantastic, Philip, i especially like the touch of color on monochrome!
Looks like a fine illustration for a novel or fairy tale.

Nicely done Phillip. Boy, this brings back memories! I haven't been to Callaway Gardens since I was a teenager (a LONG time ago), but I recognized this immediately when it first came up. Great rendition, and congrats on the EP.
