Sony A700
Minolta 200mm macro

These roses grow semi-wild behind our house. Couldn't resist making them film (pixel) stars. All comments welcome and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you on the finest Flora forum on the planet.>=))>

Sometimes I'm amazed at how well mother nature will pose for the camera! Beautiful grouping and perfectly captured ... one to give Thanksgiving for! Happy Thanksgiving to all!

I really like the symbolism in this presentation—the full-blown rose, heavy with the impending end; and the just blossomed, so upright with new life! Certainly proves that a photo can be so much more than a pretty view!

Bill, I look at this and can visualize this as a plate in a book of flowers. You definitely turned them into pixel stars. Neat contrast between the straight standing up buds and the bent bloom.

no compromise here, just delightful soft colors and good composition. lucky you to have wild roses in your back yard, here in canada, we have to grow them, and only see them when winters over,

Bill, this is fantastic! I really love the comp on this and do not think it could be anymore perfect. The light and bg are also very nice on this.

Perfect BG and beautiful colors. I also like the contrast between the old almost spent bloom and the newbies just ready to burst open. Awesome comp too.
