Home run, Josh. Excellent capture of a very elusive species, and that tongue, the eyes and the light on the face are the clinching elements.

I like very much the scene, the bobcat is clearly vigilant even while drinking - and love that pink tongue!

Hi Josh,
Very nice - I love the tongue and the "faraway" look in the bobcat's eye. Good detail and nicely composed - I very much like how you positioned the main subject. Two further comments:
1. This is a real "if only" image. "If only" that darned clump of dirt (and vegetation) hadn't been in the way! Obviously it doesn't directly interfere with the subject, but when I imagine the image without it - with the beautiful out-of-focus gold reflections and the reflection of the cat...boy, that would have been an amazing scene and shot. Nothing you do about this...if only...
2. Personal preference thing here - I would have loved to see this image in the "larger" size option, only because I think the detail in the cat would be even more impressive.
