Taken last night at one of the lakes in the Everglades. I went out for sunset and forgot this event was going to happen. Got this shot off right before cloud cover came in for the night.

Terrific picture! I was west of you and a little north. Clouds obscured it all for me.

The sense of motion due to the long exposure is great. Did you have to do anything to compensate for the moon?

This is a real beauty, Paul, The sky is awesome and so is the reflection. When I first opened the image, I didn't see the moon, and as I reflect on the image, I honestly think it's even better without the moon because there's more mystery to the image. Nice job.

Beautiful!! I was at work and missed the fun, but Todd C got some real nice shots from our neihgborhood (posted at RMNP). This mix works real well here--super shot. BTW--responded to your comment on my post.

Rob, no compensation. Its blown but not bad. Also, you can see that cloud passed in front of it, basically lowering the exposure of it.

Carol, I can kinda see what you mean but the whole alignment of the planets and moon seems prety special so thats the whole point of the shot.

Thanks eveyone,
Paul

Very nice, Paul! I really like the crisp silouetted trees and the sense of movement in the clouds.

Very nice Paul.
I can almost hear the crickets and the birds singing their song...
This must be a wonderful place on Earth.

Giovanni
