My partners in crime Gus (the boxer) and Lindsay (the girlfriend) taking in the view during a sunset back in October. This was taken from the "greenspot" on the Mt. Norquay road. That is the town fo Banff down there for those who do not know. Since about 90% of my photography is from Provincial and National Parks I wanted to submit something other than the typical mountain scene. I've always really likd this shot because of the lighting and the fall yellows down on Vermillion Lakes. All your C7C welcomed and much appreciated!

10 portrait shot pano stitched in CS3 (originally I did it manually but I have reprocessed the image for this post, learned alot since then!)
40D, 17-85mm IS at 26mm, f/16
ISO 200, 1/10 - 1/13 sec.

Fantastic shot, Mitch! I love the perspective here, and this is a different look at the park than the typical landscape. This is also a great example of how effective thirds are for a comp! Hope it's hanging on a wall somehwere in town, if it isnt, then get it out there!

Awesome pano. Your partners really add a sense of scale and human interest to this photo.

Fabulous capture Mitch. The positioning and inclusion of the two figures up the impact factor tremendously.

This is great, Mitch. One of your better panos for sure. Everything about it works so well, and it's totally one of those shots that I'd picture being in a tourism brochure.
