Dreaming of a better place to live

Nikon D200, 18-200mm Nikkor, C-PL filter, hand held.

I got captivated by this man painting on the wall outside his front yard in San Jose, Costa Rica. Thought that it contrasts a life closer to the nature and one in the busy city.

Thank you for your comments.

Andrey, a very effective juxtaposition of an urban backdrop for the dream of a more rural setting. It also resonates, probably subconsciously for most, that there's enough urban in the scene to cement the image within a city but that the more vividly colored rural mural is the dominant element.

Expressed as words, this image might say: "Yes indeed, I'm in a city. You can see that, but what I REALLY want to do is move to a cottage in a country village near the mountains," and that is a longing many city dwellers (and rural people as well) can relate to.

Nice. This lends a color palate we don't often see on NPN!
