Been taking alot of macro shots of rose bouquets bought at the grocery store. Still no outdoor shots... but its getting here! Taken with Canon 5D with 90 Tamron macro.

Thanks for all the comments. Matthew: The rose was backlit by window light, and I used on-camera flash.

Supremely beautiful, Patricia ! The composition is excellent but the lighting is the great joy of this image - in its varied shades and its enhancement of the textures of the petals. Love it !

Patricia, all is elegance in this image (even the frame and signature). A photo worth of the queen of the flowers. The rising light awakes a great emotion in me. Really splendid Patricia!!
