It was only "mine" for 2 months in 2005, and is otherwise my mother's '03 4Runner, but whatever. I'll post my current ride below.

I've driven a lot of roads, but this one up to the Granduc Mine in northern British Columbia remains my favourite. Narrow, very rough, extremely foggy/cloudy, gigantic snow drifts, waterfalls, glaciers and some of the most incredible scenery I've ever witnessed. There were actually some drifts that were higher than the 4Runner, but because of the terrible visibility and narrow road (that's a ~300m cliff on the right side), I wasn't about to get out of the vehicle and stand in the middle of the road taking pictures...

Quality's not the greatest here, since this was from my old F65 back in 2005, and scanned in with a Coolscan V. It was incredibly noisy, which I reduced as best as I could.

Here's my current vehicle, an '06 Mazda3 Sport. The 4Runner was great, but in terms of having fun on twisting highways, the 3 has got it beat to hell.

Oh man that's intense! Looks very foreboding.

Yes, very foreboding. The headlights of the car emerging from the mist are quite compelling -- they have a ferocity that would suit an advert.

Here it is in B&W, Stan.

I'm partial to the muted colours of the original.
