indeed - the old dragon's eye - with bushy white eyebrows to boot! exquisite, ian. the warm contrasting well with the cold, with intriguing tinges of purple. actually, i see a dragon, dinosaur and horse all at differing scales! wonderful!

The glow in the inside of the eye is very nice, and the sky with the few clouds contrast beautifully against the rock. Great image Ian.

Very nice Ian, really love that glow inside the rock. Nice use of color as well with the warm and cool tones complimenting each other.

Nice Ian, well handled light and I really like the glow inside the Eye. The blue/gold colors work well together.

I like the comp and the colors. I do wish there was something more interesting through the tunnel to look at, but you can't have everything.

I'm definitely drawn into the center of the arch. There is alot of detail to study in there. Nice.

Fine work, Ian. Excellent that you were able to pull out the shadow details in such a high dynamic range setting. The details on the near side of the arch and the atmosphere up top are a real bonus.

Really like the composition but more than anything, that glow bouncing around in the 'eye'. Interesting that you use a Nikon lens on a Canon; must be an excellent lens. Beautiful image.

I like the light here Ian, however I think this is not so strong as your previous posts, especially regarding here the LLC with that diagonal line shaped on the rock, but it's just the way Nature is, maybe if can go a little to the right to avoid it!

Excellent light, processing, and composition. Those wispy clouds just rule, too. I'd crop out the sky entirely, and re-name this "the birthing."
