Zephyr

Hi all.

This is my favorite flower to shoot cram shots with. This is the Blue Zephyr, a Brachycome (Swan River Daisy) hybrid. I planted two or three of these flowers in several of our containers around the yard.

Due to their size, color, and delicacy, these are great flowers to shoot cram shots with.

Any and all thoughts appreciated.

Nathan

Nathan: You know I took your name in vain for the Weekly Challenge as the cram master. This confirms the title. One of your best and that's saying a lot. 2+ thumbs up! >=)>

I remember your muse from last year Nathan, and you're picking up where you left off - with another excellent cram shot of a Blue Zephyr.

I really like the composition. The eye is led into the frame with the lr oof flower, travels to the central subject, and then is led out of the frame with the 2 flowers in the ur corner. A great eye journey directed by the petals of the flowers. Well seen and executed :toast:

What a dreamy, impressionistic image. I wish cramming had a name more in tune with the beauty of this work.

Beautiful, Nathan. Good selective focus with just the right depth of field
and the purple and yellow colors are striking. I also like it that you have
the main subject slightly off center and the stem angled.

Nathan:

Can you explain what you mean by "cram shots". I don't know the term. Does it mean shooting macros with a telephoto to condense the perspective? Thanks, just trying to add to my photographic lexicon...

Simply superb!! Love the angle of view into the flowers and of the subject flower, itself. A little less than half the flower in focus and yet because of the cram and how the flowers are loosely arranged, it really stands out. A well made shot, Nathan.
