Sunrise over the ridge

The sun was just breaking over the ridge and hit the leaves on this group of trees by the roadside. Shot with an Olympus 4040Z in 2002. The image has been modified in Photoshop with simplification filters to mass detail in the same manner a painter would.

Exquisite! Like the highest quality paint-by-numbers. I do not mean to say this is inferior...opposite...the light is warm and foreground cool. This is exceptional...wonderful. I would like a tad brightness added...but a wall hanger for sure. Ken S

Jim, the luminance of the trees lends a very warm mood to this painterly image. You did very well in executing your vision.
