This is a small mill located in a remote area of Mark Twain National Forest in the Missouri Ozarks.

Gosh Mark that's very Harry Potter. Much as the water is clean and clear I don't think I'd fancy swimming amongst that lot in there. I would fear being dragged under. Its a very atmospheric place though and very well photographed to elicit that mood.

Looks like a nice tranquil location and I like the vegetation in the water. Needs a CCW rotation to straighten it out though

This looks great, Mark. Really cool scene with unique, almost freitening mood. I love the underwater vegetation. Very original image. Great stuff!

This is quite cool, Mark, and the interesting mill surrounded by all the lush green is a bonus that is well composed. That aquatic vegetation is really eerie - kind of like an eel invasion! Good that you used the CP to bring out that detail. Sorry about my "tilt police" nit, but it could stand a bit of CCW rotation to get the reflections closer to vertical (for me reflections are always a reliable and very easy tool for leveling my images).

Very unusual image but I really like it and the foreground is very appealing. The rustic feel really comes out in this image.

How unusual, the foreground and overall shot is fascinating. I really like this, my eyes seem so drawn to this.

It looks like a mass of writhing eels in the water, which makes for a very compelling image. Congrats for the EP.

Congrats on the EP, Mark. Now that I see all the details, this is one very fun shot. So much to look at. The fg is especially appealing, but the mill is so quaint and the wisp of a waterfall is really cool. :toast:
