Well on another forum they have a show yourself thread which reminded me I never posted one here. This is my mom and I in Amboseli National Park on the safari I won. it was an awesome trip and I have to thank my mom, because it was her that sent me to nature camp as a child and let me keep all the bugs and snakes I found. That led to my deep love for nature and of course to taking the photo that won the trip.

Thats Kilimanjaro in the background.

Paul,
As an ole' Florida cracker, give your Mom a big hug for me... I grew up collecting snakes and putting fish in the bathtub. My mom died way too young and I didn't get to do the fun things you guys are doing... Life's short,... unpredictable,... and awesome. Enjoy every sweet second.

Hi Paul--great shot of you and your mom, im sure she is very proud of you! My parents also nurtured a love of nature with me--so i had my share of terrariums, iguanas, horny toads, you name it, anything i could catch in the front yard (lots of lizards lost their tails

Thanks guys, my mom will love to hear she looks young. And I'm glad I don't look 16 anymore, still get carded at R movies sometimes. =)

Well, I got 2 things to say,
1 - Nice photo
2 - I say this very respectfully and it is meant as a complemet, I swear, when I first looked at the thumbnail, I thought you had posted a picture with your gilr friend, seriously, your mom looks very young. Also, it is great of you to honor your mother like this, I respect that very much.
