Where Is That Bugler?

I was visiting Boxley valley in AR on Oct. 4th. Enjoying viewing the elk and taking photos. These two bulls had been fighting when they heard what must have been an even bigger bull bugling and the fight ended. I suppose they were concerned about how close he might be?

Viewing and photographing nature is an enjoyable experience.

I saw the green leaves and wondered where this was taken. You had very nice light on the critters. You even got a nice catch-light in the eye of one of them.

Nice shot of some majestic creatures. Nice colors. I think one of the neatest sounds in nature is an elk bugling when in rut season.

Nice shot, Larry. The clump of grass adorning the antlers of the one bull tells much about the heat of battle.

Must be a nice bull if he is bigger than these guys. Nice catch.

I too got a kick out of the clump of grass on the horns. Nice catch of a break in the action.

A rare but enjoyable treat for me to watch elk, whether rutting or not. Nice capture, I especially like the grass in the LH bull's rack.
