I haven't had much chance to get out and have been working on cataloging and keywording old images. Here's one I passed over on the first go around. It's about 70% of full frame. C and C welcome.

Not sure how you missed this beauty on the first go around Keith...it makes me wonder how good the other shots must have been. great flight shot of this Kingbird. He was low enough to be crop dusting

I like the action and the detail you captured. The colors are super. Only wish is that the shore line didn't bisect the head.

Sweet action here Keith, I've tried to get this species in flight and don't have a good one yet. This is really nice. If it were mine I would crop a little from the top, but that's personal taste. :toast:

Keith, great details in this bird. I like the position you caught the bird it too. Tough flight shot to be sure. Well done. Only suggestion, the blues of the water seem a bit over saturated on my monitor. Not sure if others feel the same.

Excellent capture, Keith. Clear and colorful. Interesting to see the pose too. Maybe the blue is a bit oversaturated. If it were less saturated perhaps the position of the horizon would be less of a bisector for the bird. :toast:

I don't understand how you missed this one either. Great wing position, eye contact, and DOF. The sky looks over saturated to me too.

Keith,

Love the flight pose, how low the bird is to the ground, the eye contact and the spread of the wing.

The blue does look oversaturated to my eyes too.

A fine image as posted and toning down the blues will make it even stronger.

Great, sharp capture. I also think it could be made stronger by cropping out some sky and maybe even a tad of the soft FG.
