San Miguel County, Colorado

The underbrush colors were off the charts and I felt that they stole the show.

The mixture of color and sense of depth here is fantastic. The way you arranged the aspen trunks breaks the scene up nicely and makes for a strong composition. In the perfect world, I wouldn't have minded a little less of those bare branches in the fg, but this is as close to perfect as it gets. Good stuff!

Yep, they are stealing the show. Beautiful colors here, Jimmy. I like that the aspens have just a flash of color at the top contrasting against all that red/orange.

Very nice Jimmy. You caught both top and bottom at the same time. The green bg really makes it work.

Did you run into any wind problems on your trip?

Fantastic Jimmy. While the undergrowth colors are gorgeous, those aspens are tremendous. Superb composition, superb image. The large image is incredible. A real winner for sure.

You are the aspen master, Jimmy. You always come up with new and very interesting images in the genre. My only small nit is the speck of light in the upper left. Can't figure out what it is???
