This was taken in Elk Island National Park once upon an early morning in September. Fall is definitely beginning to show itself. Ducks, geese, cranes stitch the sky overhead with ragged "V"s. (Too bad I could not catch that here) The air is cooler, and the colors already saturating the undergrowth is starting to pop in amongst the trees.

I hope this is worthy for the challenge.

Thank you for your comments and critiques.

Wonderful colors and great graphic anchor with the FG rocks. The reflection is super. I also like the bit of fog on the surface of the water.

Really nice light and the pink is great. And the mist rising from the lake is a very nice addition.

This has a great atmosphere to it, and really captures the way the season is in Alberta. The little bits of vibrant colour and the clear reflection are really great. My only suggestion would be to try to reduce the lens distortion/tilt that can be seen by comparing the trees in the upper right with their reflections.

Looks like a real peaceful scene, and the touch of color makes it a fitting entry--nice work, Will!
