This little one and its twin shared our yard this summer with their mom. Never seemed to be able to get a clear shot because they were pretty skittish until coming home from work one day a few weeks ago they were by the driveway and finally didn't run. Any comments and critiques appreciated

Canon 5D II, 70-200 2.8 IS @173mm, ISO 400, f4.5, 1/200 sec, handheld.

The ears are something. Great detail in the hair which is surprisingly long.

Nice pose and details in the fawn and surrounding. I'd love to see this from my yard. Great catch.

I agree with the others--a great catch! Thats one scraggly looking fawn, nice that it at least posed for your shot! :smile:
