Cold Autumn Creek

This is a creek close to where I live that I like to visit this time of year. I've always liked how the fallen birch leaves carpet the ground on either side of the creek.
This is the first year that I waded into the icy water with a tripod for something different. Can't help but wonder what passers-by may have thought as I was quite close to the road here.

I like the scene just fine Timothy and the colors are fantastic. My only thought might be a little less exposure. A little less brightness might saturate the colors a bit more.

I like the image and particularly the composition and pov. I agree with Tony about reducing the brightness in the colors to make them appear richer. I might also give the image just a touch of counter clock wise rotation but I'd have to see it afterwards to know for sure. I think this was certainly worth getting your feet wet for.

Excellent sense of motion, so standing in the freezing water worked well!
