I love these birds and how they always seem to be curious. I like the grassy environment too as ours always seem to be on dusty mounds. Nice details in the feathers and the legs. Well done.

Very nice Sharon. I like the stare, the BG, and the FG in this image. Good focus on the face and natural light.

The staring-right-at-you pose makes lots of impact. I'd be inclined to wish for more room at the right, but just a nit.

Great image. Nice low perspective. What make these image even stronger might be to selectively brighten the eyes. Might be worth a try. Would love to have this in my files.

Now if you were a true Phillies fan you would have Photoshoped a Phillies hat on this little guy and posted him. But, I like the little Owl better this way. Great shot, Love the pose and comp.

Excellent detail on the owl Sharon. I like the background and that we can see almost the whole bird as they are so often partially obscurred by vegetation. I'm a bit surprised at the lack of color in the eyes, even in this light.

Nice composition and I love the eye contact. I would have liked more light on the eyes, seems like he's side/backlit, but that's ok.
