This is my first post and I'm trying to figure out how to upload a photo so I hope all goes well. This is a picture I took of a barn on my property right after I learned how to photograph with somthing other than a point and shoot.

John, this is such a beautiful barn, and the light is magical. I also like the framing of the tree. Barns are one of my favorite subjects - you're so lucky to have one of your own!

Pretty scene John, and I especially like the touch of color. Beautifully composed.

Very good use of lighting and adding fence to FG. Nicely done.

This has great appeal for me, John. Mostly because of the country atmosphere and the wonderful light on the main subject in the frame. The overhanging branches and the fence frames the barn very nicely. Fantastic first post.

Welcome, John. I like the warm sunlight glancing the barn and trees, and the way you've composed the tree as a frame. The color seems a little odd on my monitor.. greenish sky and blue snow. It maybe the result of using Auto WB?, but it's probably that I'm just not familiar with the conditions.
