Tufted Titmouse

Gallery: AvianPosted November 11, 2009139 views2 comments

I was walking down my driveway to get the mail and I heard some rustling in the weeds. I watched as a titmouse flew in and out with nesting material. I know the background is a bit busy but I thought he was cute.

Used Canon 10D with 100-400 lens set at 400.
Any comments welcome

Thanks Janet

Welcome Janet! Very cute indeed, the bg doesn't bother me as I like the similar colors and it is out of focus enough not to be distracting. The light is a little contrasty and more light on the face and nest material would have been nice. Some fill flash might have helped with that. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.
