1D2n, 600mm f4 is, 1/2500s, f7, iso 400.

Although common and noisy, I still find these to be elegant and attractive - especially the younger ones. Hope you agree!

Very lovely image of this bird, Ian. They are sure not common around here (I've never seen one before). The lighting and detail in your image are really something special. Funny tilt on this bird though: looks like he's been torpedoed! :toast:

Beautiful Ian. I like the "tilt" and find it refreshing.

"common and noisy" look wonderful at this low angle, golden water and tilted forward.
Great shot Ian.

elegant and attractive, indeed. This is another beauty, Ian. I love the tilted pose and the hint of motion that it provides in this calm, serene image. Very nice looking bird, and it looks like you nailed the exposure. :toast:

I like them too, and miss the few we'd see each winter on the NJ coast. Excellent detail and exposure, and your great low view location as well.

Ian, you haven't posted one I haven't liked. Once again, everything about it is very pleasing. I don't think I have seen you post a gull yet? Keep them coming. :toast:
