Wow, would have loved to see a leopard on the move on my trip. I would try multiplying the highlights in the background and dodging the leopard a touch. Might make it pop more. Otherwise, I like it!

Pat, I like this one much better than your previous post. The only thing unfortunate is the fact that the BG is light and the leopard in the shadow. Paul's suggestion will help to make it look better in that respect. I am just curious why you decided to shoot this at such a small aperture. Opening up significantly would have helped throwing the far BG OOF whilst still having the subject sharp.

Agree with Vincent's comment about the f 14.

Hi Patricia,
I'm sure this was a very special moment! I'm in agreement with the comments of Paul and Vincent - so ditto me on those. I'm wondering if there's perhaps slightly too much foreground in the image - I'd be tempted to experiment with cropping a little of it off and lower the leopard a little in the frame (thus getting it out of dead-centre vertically).
Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

What a handsome cat. Must have been incredible to see it. I agree with Brad's suggestion of less foreground. I think the leopard stand out very well considering it is in the shade and the background is so well lit.

What a special moment! I would agree with Paul's idea to experiment a bit, but this is grand as presented.
