Hi everybody! It's been a while since my last post and comments. I was very busy working and we have been away on a trip to Costa Rica. What an incredible country that is!
All those beautiful animals, birds, flowers. We did have a great time.
One of my favourite animals to photograph were these frogs. I know this one doesn't look that interesting, but if you look HERE, you can see the full grown female. In the lodge where we stayed, Mawamba lodge in Tortuguerro NP, they took special care of these frogs. They collect the eggs and let them develop to tadpoles and than to little frogs. We were allowed to set some of the very tiny frogs free in the garden.

Wow - those frogs realy change colors as they get older. I didn't realize that.

The frog by itself woud have made a good image but the veins on the leaf really help direct your eye to the frog.

Thanks for posting.

What a contrast between the juvenile and the adult and nice to be able to see both. Thanks for posting.

Absolutely cute! Lovely colour on the frog, and the leaf is a great prop. The adult frog has a nice smile. Excellent shots, both of them!

Nice shot - the color of the frog is really cool and the detail is great.
