Many times while out at the farm I have tried to find these little guys as they croak to one another with no success. I captured this guy on the front porch railing as I was leaving the house. I was pretty lucky. Your thoughts and comments are always welcome.

The frog is nice! Nice angle, good colors, great eye contct. More DOF would have rendered all of him/her sharp.
The white rail is a distraction, and I personally would have not hesitated to focus on an interesting branch or other perch, then stick him/her gently on it and shoot away!

Nicely captured. Like how the frog is just hanging on with one arm.

Nice pose, on top of everything else. The white doesn't really bother me, but I suppose it wouldn't get any worse if you toned it down a bit; but it works for me like this too. Great shot!

I like the comp and pose on the frog, Matthew. I can see Sandy's point about the white because it does kind of dominate the image. On the other hand, this is a great captiure for you since these have been so elusive --- sometimes you have to take what is given to you.
