I was looking through some puffin pictures and started to play around with a puffin facing the wrong way. I came up with this image. Its an unusual angle. I quite like it. The bird was on the Farne Islands, Northumberland, UK

What do you think

Canon 50D, 500mm f4 lens + 1.4 converter, ISO 320, f5.6, 1/500sec

Ron, I love the angle an unique perspective, but I have to be honest and say I would like it even better if you ha a bit more DOF. Mostly interested in seeing the last fishes eye in focus also. But still a fantastic shot!

Fantastic Ron - the focus running through the eye and the fish works really well as does the reversal of the usual view.

cheers

The unusual perspective removes this from the domain of ordinary. I like it! and wonder how long it would have taken me to figure out which bird and which way it was facing without your comments. :toast:
