Actually, he wasn't quacking at all - he was just swimming about with his bill open for reasons best known to himself.

Apologies for lack of recent participation - my PC became rather sick and, after a lot of deliberation, I decided to switch platform and I bought a mac. Major headache! I'm sure it will be fine after a few weeks....

Awesome shot - really really fantastic look at the bill with the dreamy light filling it up... I think maybe the duck was trying to taste the sunshine? Great catchlight given the angle as well, I think the photo might need a TINY amount of CCW rotation - but I'll let others weigh in.

This made me smile when I opened it. I can almost hear this little duck quacking away happily as he floats along (even though he's not really quacking!) Excellent work. Congrats on the EP!
