Remembering Vermont

This is image from a very popular place in Vermont called Stowe. I had visited this subject several times over a week waiting to capture this with the right light. I liked what was going on behind it but I needed some diffuse clouds to bring out the color and make the image "pop". I used the S-Curve of the river to lead the viewer to the subject and connect the foreground with the background.

Any comments or feedback would be much appreciated..

This is the image I was looking for on my recent Vermont trip! ack!
Never found a church with the fall colors and a river too.
Great comp and colors, except the blue skyseems quite oversaturated from here.

This is as Vermont as it gets. Great colors.

A classic landscape. Not sure if the foreground is necessary and would probably have been best to focus on the chapel instead.

Sweet scene...I do think the the colors a bit on the neon-side though.

Your patience was well rewarded, Kevin. The colors here are dramatic, and
this certainly says autumn in New England. Thoughtfully composed.
