I took this in June of 2006, and converted it to b&w with some duotone added. It was one that was selected for our local Festival of the Arts a couple of years ago, and is probably one of my all time favorite images. It was taken at Versluis Park, which is near my home. I remember driving home and watching the clouds, hoping to get to the park before they disappeared. The still reflection is what makes the shot for me

Very interesting cloud formations Kathy. I'm curious, was there much blue in the sky to play with? If so, I think playing with the blue and cyan sliders in the conversion process could give you some deeper tones in the blue areas (sky and water) and in turn make those clouds pop a little more.

Fantastic reflection, Kathy! Very peaceful. Looks great, but might be worth playing around with some different conversions--there's something slightly disconcerting to me about seeing more detail in the reflection than in the actual cloud (from the bright highlite).

Love the clouds and I think the B&W conversion was the way to go. I do agree with the other comments that they sky needs more contrast.

I can see why it's one of your favorites. Lovely image.
