Another nice one, Kathy - may be a crop from the right might work as well.

Kathy: I like this view and agree with Ram about a crop from the right so that the frame is filled with the petals. I also think this one needs a bit more sharpening as well. What post processing software are you using?>=))>

Lovely, beautifully controlled yellows, Kathy, and a very effective point of view. The composition could not be bettered except perhaps for a crop at the right, as Ram suggests.

Thank you, eveyone, for the comments. Bill, I used PS Elements 7 for this (processed on my laptop). I also have CS4 on my mac, but happened to use my laptop for this. But I've noticed my pictures seem sharp to me (using unsharp mask) until I get them posted. then they look soft. Not sure why?? I'll process and post one later from my mac, using CS4, and see if there is any difference. Maybe it has something to do with my technique or settings for USM. ??

Sweet capture Kathy. Just read down and am with Ram. I was wondering if any one suggested a slight crop off the right side to emphasize the "goodies" more.

Kathy: I used USM routinely for years but have migrated to smart sharpen over the past several months and do prefer it. My default setting is 175/.8. I usually only have to tweak the radius if a smooth part of the BG gets noisy. Don't know if SS is available with Elements but it certainly is with CS 4 and is probably even better than the version I'm using with CS 2. Give it a try. >=))>

Very pleasing colors and lines Kathy. I too have trouble with the sharpening for the web. Will try Bill's suggestions as well.
