This is a very good orang shot. I would consider cloning out the two projections coming out from behind his head.

Hi Larry and welcome to NPN! :wavey: This is so human! I really appreciate this image for that wonderful pose (especially those folded arms) and expression. The surroundings unfortunately contains a lot of hand of man elements and immediately relate this to a ZOO. I agree with John about the two projections being distracting.
I hope we will see more image posts as well as comments from you here in the Fauna Gallery Larry.

Nice details and an incredible pose. I agree that the two things in the background behind the head could stand to be cloned out. Nice colors.

The orang looks grand, it is just too bad you had to contend with those surroundings!

Hey New Guy,

Welcome to the Fauna Gallery - I hope this is only the first of many image posts (and comments) you contribute to this gallery!

My comments on this image echo those of Lon and Vincent so I won't re-state them. Just a couple of other points...

1. While this it totally up to you - I think you'll find you get a little more meaningful feedback on your images if you include the tech specs of your image post (lens, focal length, shutter speed, aperture, ISO, etc.). Without this kind of info commenters are just guessing at what you did to capture the image and have difficulty providing any useful feedback.

2. Another thing you might want to consider is posting your images a little larger than this. At this size it's quite difficult to truly assess too much about the technical quality of the image and again the quality of feedback you receive may suffer as a consequence. But again this is totally your decision.

Cheers...thanks for contributing to the Fauna Gallery.
