Old Dock

Another experiment with my low light, long exposure technique. I've been eyeing this old decaying dock for over a year waiting for the right conditions to capture it properly.I finally found the right combination just before dawn on a rainy, overcast and very windy morning.

Canon 5D, 24-105mm @ 47mm, 25 sec, F/22, iso 100, 4 stops of ND filter with polarizer, gitzo tripod and wishing I had a cup of hot coffee to warm my bones.

Thanks in advance for comments.

Very peaceful and serene. Thr muted coloring is perfect here. Very nicely done!

Excellent. A very artistic image, well worth enduring some pain to obtain.

I really like this. Wonderful combination of moody weather and elements. The long exposure looks great.
