20 commentsI'm very partial to macro images with a simple color scheme. I think this is a really cool image. Did you find it like this, or is it posed? Thanks for sharing!

great job

Love the color contrasts and the 4x5 crop. Did you have to shoot at ISO 400? Best Regards.
Costa Vicentina is a really beautiful place that we remember with great pleasure.

Outstanding in every way. I love the contrast of the bolder rock against all the curves and shadows of the rest of the the rocks. Very nicely done!!!
Cam: This is completely natural, except for the golden one, as soon as I found it on the rocky bay I immediately grabbed it and kept it. I continued shooting my scenics making use of an interesting sky, and saved it for later. Then my challenge was to find a spot where to shoot what I had in mind... and I guess this was absolutely it
Stephen: about toning down some white, I understand what you mean, but that´s again a consequence of working in mode Lab on PS on adobeRGB color space. When preparing for Web, converting to sRGB modified some of the tones, mostly noticed on the golden rock, original file is more pleasant to the eyes on that aspect.
Michael: shot at iso400 due to having very low light, and to maintain aperture and shutter speed at those values.
Daniele & Loana: Indeed! Each time I travel there, I get confused about selling my house and consider moving
Paulo: Initial processing had an bit cast of yellow, guess I matched the tones right...
Great work!
