WC411 Ice Reflections

This was taken just after sunrise in early February in Canyon de Chelly, New Mexico. The creek running through the canyon had a thin layer of ice that added some great texture to the reflections of the canyons sandstone walls and the clear blue skies. Only an hour after sunrise the ice had melted away. Any critiques or comments would be most welcome.

Canon Elan II, Provia 100, settings not recorded

Great ice abstract, Scott! As much as it would hurt to slice off any of the ice detail, i think id prefer a nice diaganol here and cropt eh right dark portion.

Love the fractured reflections of the canyon walls on the ice and the blue from the sky. Very abstract image, and I like it.

I diagree with Stan on this fine photo. The dark gives a sense of transition, espeically with the lacy oranges that go left to the main rock reflection.

GREAT ABSTRACT..

Print it if you haven't already...
