Floral with Avian guest

Forgive me! I know this shot looks way out of category but it is a marriage of my two favorites, Flora and Avian, taken this year. The short story was I had actively spent months looking for a white crowned sparrow to add to my avian gallery when I found this fellow at the local tulip festival. I arrived before dawn to find him on the post in front of my car and had many brief meetings throughout the day as the crowds walked the rows of tulips. I can only assume their was a nest somewhere in the rows as he did not seem intimidated by all the people.
Please feel free to remove if the sparrow is too out of place here.

Craig: The only place I might want to move this is to my hard drive. Party crashers are always welcome and I especially like birds since we don't often see them posted. My only suggestion would be to paint/clone some color into the bright spot along the right edge and then print it large. Kudos for your persistence and perseverance and for a fine image. >=))>

What a fun shot Craig!! Love it! I would probably crop off some of the top, to just above the bloom behind the sparrow as the two oof blooms above are a bit distracting. Other than that, yeah!!! :toast:

Neat posting Craig. Nice composition and great capture. Patience paid off! :toast: White Crowned Sparrows are one of my favorite visitors to our bird feeders, often preferring to forage on the ground to eating from the feeders. They are here for only several days in the spring while in transit. Thank you for sharing.

Craig, A party crasher in the form of a bird is rather rare on the Flora forum. This is excellent and Bill has a great suggestion as well. Love this photo using the flowers to frame the bird.

What a delightful addition to he Flora forum!!! The tulips definitely play an integral part of the image and thank you for sharing this in this forum! I'll ditto Bill's suggestion, but otherwise, a wonderful comp.
