First of all I would like to wish you all very nice holidays and a great 2010!!!
This little Robin visits my new feeding house regularly, since we have a very early winter here in Holland with lots of snowfall and freezing temperatures. The Robin has claimed this house as its own and is defending it against the tits and others birds.

Very nice capture, Ellen. Very nice light and detail on the Robin. And a nice house as well --- perhaps not the greatest protection from the elements but certainly worthy of being defended.

The scene is really beautiful; the pose of the Robin suggests cold!
