This is my last post for 2009. It has been a good year for me regarding photography. I'm very glad I could be part of this great community that has taught me almost everything I know about taking photos. I can't wait to see what next year will bring. I'm sure everyone will be at the top of their game. I hope the holidays find you well. See you in 2010!

This was shot in the same morning as my last image in a moment when the landscape was clear of fog.

Hey Dorin,
Happy New Year to you also. I like the subtle layers and the way the snow covered trees lead us to the sunburst. I find the perspective pretty cool too!

What a wonderfully captured scene. I love the starburst and the freshly fallen snow. The bottom third of the image seems inexplicably brighter than the rest of the scene, but I like it.

Awesome last 2009 post, Dorin! Just a fabulous scene and great timing. Probably worth trying to brighten up the left corner sky some to even things out a bit. Im betting you're gonna be showing us some truly great stuff next year.

This is like polar opposites. Well I must say your winter shots carry a lot of mood and you can visually see your hard work in them. Well done Dorin. New camera? Well besides the full frame fancies, your doing quite well. Very well.

This is excellent, Dorin. What a gorgeous scene. Looks colder than Antarctica, though. The warm light feels good.

Your image brings back some wonderful memories of visiting friends in Targu Mures for Christmas in 1990 and then driving through this area at night after a heavy snow on my way to Bacau. It was bitterly cold with lots of beautiful snow, much like your image. Dorin, you've really captured a remarkable scene. Keep pursuing your photography. You are quickly growing in your skill and you have some of the most unique and beautiful scenery available to you. Most people will only get to see the wonder of Transylvania through your eyes.

Erik, funny thing, I actually live in Targu Mures. Romania has come a long way since your visit, although it's still a tough, but beautiful, life here. If you ever plan to make a visit again, or anyone of you guys, I'll be honoured to show you around.

I´ve said it before, you´re winter scenes are awsome, very moody like I like them. love the light and colors here. man, this should have really been cold. nice detail and dof you got here. as mentioned by others, I think you could brighten the upper left sky a tad. what a beautiful comp dorin. wish a good 2010 for you and you´re family my friend.

Dorin, IMO this is a simple and great image, with a fully natural flavor, light, shades and colors. It conveys the sense of winter and cold, and it seems to be there. Very nice!

Love the contrast of the warm sunlight color with the freezing landscape scene. Just gorgeous!
