Both the heron and I were rewarded for our patience.
Please provide advice and criticism.

Love the catch and the position of the fish in the bill. Some might say you need to rotate the crop cw to level out the stream of water. If you have the room, I might like a little more room to the left, in front of the bird. Great catch,

Hi Jimmie,
Welcome to NPN's Avian critique gallery, it is a great place to learn, share and grow as a photographer.
I love the water color and the beahvior you captured. I see the need for ccw rotation adjustment and a little more room on the left of the frame if you have it.

Welcome Jimmie,
It's always nice to get this behavior and you even got a catchlight in the fish. I really like the water color and the heron looks pretty sharp. To my eye, the bird is a little tight - top, bottom and esp on the left.

I love seeing the heron with his food. A bit more room above and on the left would be great if you have it. I also like the colors in the water.

Jimmie,
The rotation adjustment looks good on the repost as does having more room in front of the bird, if you have more room aboe the heron that I think would make a stronger comp in addition to what you have done on the repost.
