This was September in Yellowstone and this elk was aware of me, but not too concerned.

It's a big bull, and I like the alert pose and eye contact. It looks a little bright on my monitor, but it is not calibrated.

Hi Jack,
That's one intense stare and one impressive rack. On my monitor the image - and particularly the bull itself - seems a bit high in contrast. If the image were mine I'd probably experiment with slightly lightening up the dark regions on the elk (such as the in head and neck region) and slightly darkening the lighter portions (such as on the back of the elk).
