I took this on New Years Eve day while hiking at Table Rock State Park in South Carolina.
Cloudy rainy day, Manual Exposure, .8 sec, F16, ISO 100 and polarizer filter. Adjusted saturation during Raw conversion.

I hope everyone is off to a great New Year. Thanks for looking and all C&C welcomed.

4 commentsA lovely and great set of falls. I like your comp and also the inclusion of the upper cascade which gives this scene some depth.
It's hard to tell and it gets a little confusing with all the different tiers, but I get the slight sense that this has a CW tilt to it.
The only nit really as has already been mentioned is the blown out water; especially in the bottom cascade. You wrote ".8" seconds which I wouldn't think would too long to cause loss of detail in the water. Tough exposure. Might be one best dealt with using a muli-exposure blend?
Very pretty and well composed scene. I just wish the water had some detail.
