Taken at a local nature center that I frequent. Was cold and sleeting. I was actually done shooting for the day and heading back to my car when I spotted the heron standing in the shallow part of the pond. I got 2 shots off before he flew the coup.

Olympus E500, 200mm, f/3.5 @ 1/250 sec, ISO 160
