In keeping with the bridge theme...
Taken a couple of summers ago from a boat cruise under the Mackinaw Bridge. Converted to grayscale, and duotone added.

Neat shot, Kathy! I hope no ones driving over it--cause it looks like its about to tip over... I especially like the inclusion of the lone gull here (at the top corner)--kind of a flashback to previous posts...

I really like the comp, and I think the greyscale works very well here. Those horizontal lines may be sections of the pillar (it looks like concrete); I like those lines, they give texture to the pillar.

Haven't been on that bridge for ages, nice to see it again and from a perspective I never saw it from.

Thanks, everyone, for your comments. Cindy, everytime I go across, I think of the poor lady in the Yugo that was blown off the bridge in a storm years ago. But I do feel safe going across. I hope they are pretty good about closing the bridge if conditions aren't safe. (I take the center lane, though). Dirty Jobs did a feature on the bridge a while back, where Mike Rowe had to climb to the top. They couldn't pay me enough money to do that

Really interesting how the game theme has more or less gone full circle.

Very nice image. The greyscale works very well for me.
